Terms of service
This website is operated by Okey Dokey Tattoo. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Okey Dokey Tattoo.
By accessing our website, making a booking, paying a booking fee, purchasing a product, attending an appointment, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with any other policies referred to on our website, including our Booking, Cancellation & Payment Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Aftercare Policy.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or booking an appointment.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
1. About Our Services
Okey Dokey Tattoo provides tattoo services, consultations, tattoo design work, tattoo-related products, aftercare products, merchandise, and other related services.
Some services may be provided by self-employed artists working from Okey Dokey Tattoo. Where this applies, your artist may have their own booking process, payment instructions, design process, and touch-up arrangements.
By booking with us, you agree to follow all studio rules, artist instructions, health and safety requirements, and policies provided before or during your appointment.
2. Eligibility & Age Requirements
You must be 18 or over to be tattooed.
We cannot tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental or guardian consent.
You must provide valid photographic ID when requested. Accepted forms of ID may include a passport, driving licence, or PASS-approved proof of age card.
If you cannot provide valid ID, or if we believe you are under 18, your appointment will not go ahead and your booking fee may be retained in line with our Booking, Cancellation & Payment Policy.
3. Booking Fees
A booking fee may be required to secure your tattoo appointment.
Your booking fee reserves your appointment date, time, artist, and the time set aside for your tattoo.
Booking fees are normally deducted from the final price of your tattoo, unless stated otherwise.
Booking fees help cover the time and costs involved in preparing for your appointment, including consultation time, diary management, artist preparation, design work, and time reserved in the studio.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
We require at least 96 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
If you give at least 96 hours’ notice, we will do our best to move your appointment and carry your booking fee over to a new date, subject to artist availability.
If you cancel, reschedule, or are unable to attend with less than 96 hours’ notice, your booking fee will normally be retained.
Booking fees may also be retained if you do not attend your appointment, arrive too late for the appointment to go ahead, arrive without valid ID, are unsuitable to be tattooed, or behave in a way that prevents the appointment from going ahead.
Please see our Booking, Cancellation & Payment Policy and Return & Refund Policy for full details.
5. Prices & Payment
Tattoo prices are based on the artist, design, size, placement, level of detail, complexity, and time required.
Any price estimate given before the appointment is an estimate only, unless clearly confirmed as a fixed price by your artist.
The final price will be confirmed before the tattoo begins.
Unless agreed otherwise, the remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.
Some artists may request payment by a specific method, including cash or bank transfer. Please check your payment instructions before attending.
Prices for products, services, booking fees, and tattoo work may change at any time. Any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed unless agreed with you.
6. Design Work & Intellectual Property
Tattoo designs, artwork, drawings, flash sheets, stencils, digital designs, written concepts, photographs, website content, branding, logos, text, and images created by Okey Dokey Tattoo or our artists remain the intellectual property of the studio or the individual artist, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
You must not copy, reproduce, use, sell, publish, edit, or take a design created by one of our artists to another studio or artist without written permission.
Design work is part of the tattoo preparation process. Where design work has already been started or completed, this may be taken into account if you cancel, reschedule, or request a refund.
Small changes can usually be discussed with your artist. Major changes to the design, style, size, placement, or concept may require a new appointment and may result in your booking fee being retained.
7. Client Suitability
Your safety is our priority.
We may refuse, stop, or postpone an appointment if we believe it is not safe, legal, appropriate, or professional to continue.
This may include, but is not limited to, situations where:
- You are under 18.
- You cannot provide valid ID.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- You are unwell.
- You have a rash, infection, sunburn, open wound, irritation, or skin condition in the area to be tattooed.
- You have not eaten properly before your appointment.
- You are taking medication or have a medical condition that may affect tattooing or healing.
- You are unable to give informed consent.
- You do not complete consent or medical forms honestly.
- The tattoo request is unsafe, unsuitable, offensive, discriminatory, or not appropriate for the artist to carry out.
If we are unable to proceed because of client suitability, your booking fee may be retained in line with our Booking, Cancellation & Payment Policy.
8. Consent Forms & Medical Information
You must complete all required consent and medical forms before being tattooed.
You agree to provide accurate, honest, and complete information.
You must tell your artist about any medical condition, allergies, medication, skin concerns, pregnancy, breastfeeding, previous reactions, or anything else that may affect tattooing or healing.
If you fail to disclose relevant information, we may refuse to proceed, stop the appointment, or retain the booking fee where reasonable.
9. Alcohol, Drugs & Behaviour
You must not attend your appointment under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
If we believe you are under the influence, your appointment will not go ahead and your booking fee may be retained.
We do not tolerate abusive, threatening, discriminatory, aggressive, sexual, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour towards artists, staff, clients, or guests.
If you behave inappropriately, we may stop the appointment immediately, ask you to leave, and retain payment for work already carried out and time reserved.
10. Aftercare & Healing
You are responsible for following the aftercare instructions provided by your artist.
Tattoo healing can be affected by skin type, placement, aftercare, lifestyle, sun exposure, clothing, medical conditions, and the natural healing process.
We cannot be responsible for healing issues caused by poor aftercare, picking, scratching, swimming too soon, sunbeds, direct sun exposure, unsuitable products, tight clothing, poor hygiene, or failure to follow aftercare advice.
If you are concerned about your healing, please contact us as soon as possible.
11. Touch-Ups
Some tattoos may need a small touch-up once fully healed.
Whether a touch-up is included or chargeable depends on the tattoo, artist, placement, healing, aftercare, and the circumstances.
Touch-ups are not normally included where fading or healing issues are caused by poor aftercare, picking, scratching, sun exposure, swimming too soon, using sunbeds, skin trauma, or failure to follow aftercare instructions.
Touch-ups may also be chargeable for certain placements, including fingers, hands, feet, toes, elbows, knees, neck, face, or other high-movement or high-friction areas.
Your artist will confirm whether a touch-up is appropriate and whether any charge applies.
12. Products & Online Purchases
We may sell aftercare products, merchandise, gift vouchers, or other products through our website or in the studio.
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, colours, images, prices, and availability accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your device display will show colours exactly as they appear in real life.
We reserve the right to change prices, product descriptions, availability, and product ranges at any time.
Products are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
For hygiene reasons, opened or used aftercare products cannot usually be returned unless they are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
13. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are subject to the terms stated at the time of purchase.
Gift vouchers cannot usually be exchanged for cash.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable unless required by law.
Lost, stolen, expired, or damaged vouchers may not be replaced.
Gift vouchers must be used before any expiry date stated.
14. Online Store & Third-Party Platforms
Our website or online store may be hosted or supported by third-party providers, including e-commerce, booking, payment, analytics, or marketing platforms.
By using our website, making a booking, or making a purchase, you may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third-party providers.
We are not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or actions of third-party websites, platforms, or services.
Please review third-party terms carefully before using their services.

You agree that it is your responsibility to check any important details with us before booking, purchasing, or relying on information from the website.
16. Refusal, Changes or Cancellation of Services
We reserve the right to refuse service where necessary, including for legal, safety, health, behavioural, professional, artistic, or ethical reasons.
We may cancel, postpone, change, suspend, or discontinue any service or product where required.
If we cancel your appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative, any refund due will be considered fairly in line with the circumstances and our Return & Refund Policy.

20. Privacy & Personal Information

Subject to the above, Okey Dokey Tattoo will not be liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, losses caused by your failure to follow instructions or aftercare, losses caused by inaccurate information provided by you, or business losses where services are supplied for personal use.
Tattoo results and healing can vary depending on your skin, placement, aftercare, lifestyle, medical conditions, and other factors outside our control.
22. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for any loss, damage, claim, cost, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our website or services, your infringement of third-party rights, or your failure to provide accurate information where this causes loss or damage.
23. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed or amended only to the extent necessary.
The rest of the Terms will continue to apply.

These Terms remain in effect unless terminated by either you or us.
You may stop using our website or services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to our website or services if we believe you have breached these Terms or used our services in an unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate way.
Any obligations or liabilities incurred before termination will continue to apply.

We may update or change these Terms of Service from time to time.
